Blue hour appears to have passed into full night, which is why the sky is dead black rather than a graded deep blue; shooting a little earlier would have retained sky tone and softened the harsh top boundary. Overall the light shaping is lively and purposeful.

Exposure is balanced across a demanding range, holding building detail while the fountain highlights stay largely intact. The brightest core of the fountain and some mall signage push toward clipping but retain enough shape to work. Shadows in the sky are entirely crushed, which suits a night frame but leaves no tonal transition at the top. The water sits at a good level, dark enough to let reflections glow without going murky. A touch more shadow lift near the horizon would ease the abrupt black transition.

The colour contrast between cool blue and warm orange is the image's strongest asset, and the reflections carry those hues cleanly. White balance reads as neutral-to-warm, appropriate for mixed artificial lighting. Saturation, though, is pushed toward the vivid HDR end, giving the reds and blues a slightly artificial punch that flattens subtle midtone gradation. Pulling back overall saturation and reining in local contrast would restore a more natural, filmic feel while keeping the vibrancy that makes the scene appealing. The tonal range from black sky to bright fountain is wide and well used.

This appears to be a tripod-supported long exposure, and the execution is sound. The water is rendered glassy and smooth, the reflections are crisp and continuous, and the fountain jets show a soft feathering that only a longer shutter produces — a good choice that turns moving water into a graceful column of light. Focus holds across the building facades, with window detail and signage legible even in the mid-distance. Noise is well controlled in the black sky, suggesting a low ISO was used, which is the right call for this kind of static night scene. The wide framing captures the full sweep of the waterfront without obvious distortion at the edges, though the verticals of the towers lean very slightly, correctable in post. The main technical limitation is not capture but processing: the aggressive tone-mapping introduces a faint halo along the roofline where the buildings meet the black sky. A gentler local-contrast treatment would clean that edge and let the sharp underlying capture speak for itself.
