Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of ShutterClick (the "Service"), operated by Martin Sojka s. r. o. ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. The Service

ShutterClick provides AI-generated critiques of photographs you upload, scored across six categories with written feedback and suggested improvements. The feedback is an automated, educational opinion produced by an AI model — it is not professional advice, and we don't guarantee it is accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. Use your own judgement.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current.

3. Credits and payment

New accounts receive a number of free credits. Additional credits are purchased in packs through our payment provider, Paddle, who acts as the Merchant of Record for your purchase and handles billing and applicable taxes. Credits never expire, have no cash value, and are not transferable or redeemable for money.

Each critique consumes one credit. If something goes wrong with a critique, email us at hello@shutterclick.com and we'll make it right.

You may request a refund within 14 days of your purchase by contacting us at hello@shutterclick.com or our payment provider, Paddle. Refunds are returned to your original payment method.

4. Your photos and content

You keep all ownership of the photos you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your photos solely to provide the Service — including sending them to our AI provider to generate your critique. You confirm that you own or have the rights to every photo you upload and that doing so doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.

5. Acceptable use

Don't upload content that is illegal, infringing, or that you don't have the right to share. Don't abuse, reverse-engineer, overload, or attempt to disrupt the Service, and don't use it to violate anyone's rights or the law.

6. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and brand, belongs to us. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks or content beyond using the Service as intended.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that critiques will meet your expectations.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You can delete your account and associated data from your account settings.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Slovakia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
