Privacy Policy

This policy explains what ShutterClick, operated by Martin Sojka s. r. o. ("we", "us"), collects, how we use it, and who we share it with. We aim to collect only what we need to run the Service.

Information we collect

• Account data — your email address, and, if you sign in with Google or Facebook, the basic profile information they provide (such as your email and a provider ID).
• Photos and metadata — the images you upload for critique, including any EXIF metadata they contain (camera, lens, exposure settings, and capture time).
• Critiques — the scores and feedback generated for your photos.
• Payment data — purchases are processed by Paddle. We don't see or store your full card details; we receive confirmation of the transaction and a customer reference.
• Technical data — basic logs (such as IP address and browser) needed to operate and secure the Service.

How we use it

We use your information to generate critiques, manage your account and credits, send service-related email (such as the occasional re-engagement message), provide support, and keep the Service secure and working.

How your photos are processed

To produce a critique, we send a copy of your photo to our AI provider, Anthropic, via its Claude API. Your photos and critiques are stored on Amazon Web Services (S3). Your photos are used to provide your critique — they are not sold, and they are not used to train AI models.

Service providers

We rely on a small set of trusted providers to run the Service:

• Anthropic — AI critique generation.
• Amazon Web Services — photo storage (S3) and outbound email (SES).
• Paddle — payment processing as Merchant of Record.
• Google / Facebook — only if you choose to sign in with them.

Data retention

We keep your photos and critiques so you can revisit them and track your progress over time. They remain until you delete them or your account. Deleting your account removes your photos, critiques, and account data.

Your rights

You can access and update your account details, and delete your account and its data, from your account settings. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, export, or erase your personal data — to exercise them, email us at hello@shutterclick.com.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

International transfers

Our providers process data in the United States. By using the Service, you understand your data may be processed there and elsewhere our providers operate.

Children

The Service isn't intended for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll revise the date above when we do.
