A well-executed aerial coastal landscape where the little red-and-white lighthouse anchors an expansive scene of green fields meeting dramatic cliffs. The saturated grass, layered mountains, and moody sky give real sense of place. The main limitation is that the subject sits small and slightly buried in a busy mid-frame, competing with equally emphasised cliffs and fields. Light is broad and overcast rather than shaped, which keeps the cliff faces and fields somewhat flat. A stronger compositional decision about what leads the eye — and a moment of directional light on the headland — would lift this from a handsome record to a commanding image.

The drone vantage reveals the coastline's geometry well, with the lighthouse placed near a natural third and the cliff line sweeping in from the lower right. The problem is competing emphasis: the fields, cliffs, distant village, and sky all pull for attention, and the small white building — the clear subject — doesn't dominate enough to hold the eye. The horizon sits high, which favours land over sky. Bringing the lighthouse larger in frame, or using the cliff edge more deliberately as a lead-in, would sharpen the hierarchy.

The overcast, broken cloud produces soft, even light with occasional patches of sun on the distant fields. It renders colour cleanly and avoids harsh shadow, but it also flattens the cliff faces and the headland, leaving the scene without a strong sculpting quality. There's no directional raking light to bring out the rock texture or model the terrain's depth. A break of low sun catching the cliff and lighthouse would have added drama the flat sky can't provide.

Exposure is well controlled across a wide dynamic range. The bright white lighthouse holds highlight detail, the shadowed cliff faces retain texture rather than blocking up, and the sky keeps information in the clouds. The green fields sit at a pleasing midtone. Nothing is clipped in a distracting way. If anything, the darker rock and shaded water edge could carry a touch more shadow lift to reveal detail, but this is a clean, deliberate-looking exposure for tricky mixed light.

Colour is the image's strong suit — the vivid green fields, the teal-to-deep-blue water gradient, and the red trim on the lighthouse all read richly without tipping into cartoonish. White balance is neutral and believable. Contrast in the sky gives the clouds shape. The greens border on over-saturated in the brightest field patches, and a slight overall pull could feel more natural, but the tonal range from bright building to dark rock is well handled and cohesive.

The settings are well matched to the aerial landscape task. At an effective wide focal length, f/5.0 sits in the sensor's sharp range and delivers deep front-to-back focus, keeping the lighthouse, fields, and distant mountains all crisp — appropriate for this kind of expansive scene. ISO 100 keeps noise negligible and preserves the clean tonal gradations in sky and water. The 1/320s shutter is more than fast enough to counter drone vibration and any breeze, yielding sharp detail across the frame with no motion smear. Focus appears accurately placed at the hyperfocal region, so both near cliff texture and far horizon hold. The one technical caveat is that the ultra-wide field of view flattens the sense of scale and pushes the subject small; a slightly longer effective focal length or lower altitude would have compressed the layers and given the lighthouse more presence without sacrificing sharpness. Overall a technically clean, well-judged capture.
